The title of this blog is inspired by the Latin phrase ‘Omne trium perfectum’ – Everything that comes in threes is perfect/complete.

My husband and I are German but we are living in Northern Norway since 2009. In 2010 our first son was born, followed by the second in 2012. In 2018 our family became complete when our third son was born, who happens to have three copies of chromosome 21 instead of two, also known as Down Syndrome.

This blog is about things close to my heart, like my children, but also sewing, knitting, and basically everything self made. Do not expect glossy perfect pictures of a perfect family though! This is rather a messy cupboard that I want to fill with creative ideas and parenting experiences.
